Things to do in Colorado Springs In January

Free Museum Days: Friday January 18th, 2019 – Free Museum Days are an opportunity for the public to come and enjoy all the beauty the galleries at the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center has to offer. This event runs from 10 A.M. to 7:30 P.M., so come out and enjoy a beautiful day at the museum on us!
Flapjacks and Flannels: Saturday, January 19, 2019 – Dress in your best flannels and come out to enjoy Flapjacks and breakfast themed cocktails at the 3 Hundred Days Distilling. All their products are crafted by hand in small batches to create an incredible taste you won’t find anywhere else. This event runs from 5-8p.m.
Wolf Full Moon Hike:  Saturday January 19th, 2019 – Come celebrate the full moon with us as we walk along the trails at Bear Creek Nature Center.  You will be able to enjoy the sights and sounds of nature by moon light. This is an adult only event, also dress accordingly based on weather conditions.  This event runs from 7-9p.m. at the Fountain Creek Nature center and the cost is $3 for members and $4 for non-members.
Fine Arts Center’s 100th Anniversary Kick-Off Celebration– Saturday, January 26, 2019. Come join us as we kick off the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center’s Centennial Anniversary. We have activities for all ages. From hands on art activities to guided tours of exhibits. This event runs from 10 A.M. to 7:30 P.M. and the cost to attend this event is free!
The Great Fruitcake Toss:  Saturday, January 26, 2019. Here you will be able to join the locals and the great bakers of Colorado Springs to toss fruit cakes and compete for the title of Fruitcake King or Queen. We have the great fruit cake bake off, and toss. They will even have fruitcakes for rent in case you weren’t lucky enough to receive one for Christmas. This event runs from 1-3 P.M. at Memorial Park in Manitou Springs. This event is free to attend all the organizers ask for you to bring is one non-perishable food item that can be donated to benefit the Manitou Springs Community Pantry.
